The Gurukul Nilokheri organised an informative capacity building program for the teachers under the aegis of CBSE Training Programme entitled ‘Active Learning’.

The esteemed resource persons possessed a wealth of experience and expertise in education. The workshop emphasised active learning as an instructional approach, encouraging engagement through discussions, problem solving, case studies and other interactive methods. They guided teachers through various methods and activities to ensure active learning in classrooms. Active participation of the teachers was ensured during the course of the workshop. Groups were asked to make presentations on various topics which are deemed authentic to practice in classroom. This workshop was ideal for all educators across all grade levels and subject areas which will help them develop interest in making teaching more effective. At the end of the workshop, the principal delivered a thoughtful and inspiring concluding address. He began by expressing deep gratitude to the resource persons. He encouraged the educators to follow and implement the lesson learnt during workshop. The event ended on a positive and motivational note with participants feeling inspired and to make meaningful changes in their classroom teaching.
